OMG!  This is absolutely rediculous!   This elk absolutely crushes the prevous record.  I am not sure I would want to be involved with the process of dragging that this out of the woods.  The rack alone has to way a sh** ton.  I have heard that you can tell that an elk has a nice rack when it looks like it can tilt its head back and scratch its ass.  This one looks like it could scratch the ass of the elk standing behind it.

Here is a pic of the elk in velvet. Look at the barrel of apples and the pic looks like it is only 2 yards away. I doubt that you could get that close to a mature bull in the wild.
