Ice Fishing ... what do I need?

I have been thinking about getting into ice fishing this year.  I haven't really done much ice fishing in the past and I wanted to know what essentials I need to get into the sport.  I am not looking to get too carried away but I would like to get enough equipment to be able to head out a few times this year.  Does anyone have any recommendations on what equipment I should get?

You basically won't need too much.  You've already got all the wam clothes you need from all your hunting stuff.  I have everything else you would need, but here are the basics.

ice fishing rod (one with a real is ideal but not needed) but you should look for one with some sensitivity like an ultra light rod

    2-4lb test line

ice fishing jigs and something to put them in (most jig holders look like a metal cigarret case)

depth finder (a small lead weight with a metal clip molded into it)

ice scoop (for cleaning out the hole)

bucket with lid (cut a small half cirlce out of the lid, just enough to fit your rod and an ice scoop through)

ice spub or auger (I have both of these)  I like to use the spub to check for unsafe ice during the early and late season

If you want to go out with me for the first few times you won't need to bring anything but yourself.
