    Turkeys in food plots

Last weekend was the youth deer hunt in Michigan. My wife and I took turns sitting with our 14 yr old daughter. There were about a dozen turkeys walking in the different food plots. First they walked in the winter wheat, then oats, and later they had a big fight in a rye plot. They made lots of noise and were jumping into each other. It was funny to watch. (most of their time is spent in the buckwheat)

Looks like it's time to dial up the turkey-god for an early spring gobbler hunt.  Turkey-God can call em' in from anywhere!

    Got any pictures?
