Stick out tongue [:P] Re: survey

I did get a beaver survey in last month's hustler, but luckly (married 15 years) that comes every month.

All joking aside, unfortunatly I did not receive anything from the state this year. I didn't even know that they sent out trapping surveys. Atleast the state is trying to get input from trappers. We need more invovlement form the average outdoorsman to help manage game populations.

    Re: survey

    No I didn't.

How did you do trapping beaver and otter this year and what did you tell the dnr in your survey (if you don't mind me asking)

I know that beaver have been getting trapped heavey the last few years with the prices being high.

    Re: survey

I didn't run a Beaver trapline the population is too low.Beaver need to be managed closely more so then other furbearers. Most Otter are harvested in Beaver sets.

    Re: survey

I came home today and my fur harvester survey was in the mailbox. I filled it out and put it back in the mailbox right away. I got 4 coons and 2 muskrats not the most impressive totals.  It was my first year trapping though. I should do much better this year.
