Calling all black powder experts!  I need some help with the differences between the Thompson Center Omega muzzleloader versions.  I am new to black powder hunting and have been looking to pick up a muzzleloader to extend my whitetail hunting season.  From what I can tell the Omega Z5 is cheaper and the X7 is a little more expensive that the standard issue Omega.  Not quite sure what the real differences are besides that.

I am not an expert, but from what I see the x7 is a shorter version of the omega but with a peep site and fluted barrel. Also, it is about a pound lighter. The z5 is a cheaper version and someone told me it is imported. I don't know if that is true.
