I have noticed that there is a large increase in the amount of hunting preserves for upland gamebirds like pheasant and quail. I do not have a problem with it because the birds are released into the wild and have free range to escape. They also devolope the habitat, prevent urban sprawl by giving the land increased value due to the revenue that it can be generated. They also create jobs for the local community that can't be outsourced. They can help increase hunter numbers due to the fact that the people who go generaly have a very high success rate. Most of us know that many hunters give up hunting when there is no game to be seen or had. It is surely the reason why many hunters have stopped hunting pheasant in my home state of Michigan. Those are some of the good things that they have going for them. Can anybody think of any reasons why they should not be allowed? Also how do most of you feel about them.

In hunting, the finding and killing of the game is after all but a part of the whole." - Theodore Roosevelt
